2 Man Forever and "Vet vs Noobs"

These are starting to get boring rather quickly.

I suggest that we start pairing new guys with older members in 2man forevers instead of letting teams be picked themselves. The older guys hardly die and it just leaves the new guys to fight each other because of the discouragement they get when they see they cant kill the older ones.

Now as for vets vs noobs, it is ok but it is also rather annoying because new members cant exactly beat a team of better people. I know it has happened before but it is rather hard to do and it really starts to hurt after a while. Can we not do these for a few practices?

I agree interly (take that spelling!)

It would be nice if we could seperate the noobs from the vets more but every time I try it usually falls apart horably.

We also need more game types. Suggestions?

Eh, when we do "2 man forever," I usually end up pairing with a new fighter. However, they normally end up dying quickly and I become a single person team for long periods of time, if having a 1-man "team" is still considered a team. There was one case of this where I ended up legged and left alone for 15 minutes and ended up telling someone to come kill me so I could respawn with full walking ability.

In the case of Newbies VS. Vets, I've yet to participate in one of those, although I would imagine that the Newbies hardly ever win, as mentioned earlier.

i think there should be a game where you have 45 seconds to hit someone, if you dont land a successful damaging hit on someone within that 45 seconds you die and stat back at that tree. but if you make a hit your 45 sec. starts over. or 30sec. could work to. this would force even the most timid/shitty new fighters to ENGAGE the enemy not run around in circles and die all day.

i have just thought of this idea, ill think of more ways to enhance this.

tell me what you guys think of that base idea though.

Sounds perfectly okay. I don't see why the idea needs much refining/enhancing though. It's pretty straight-forward. It might be a tad difficult to keep track of your timer while trying not to die. I can hear "Is my time up?" right now. lol

yeah, that's why it'd have to be small.
perhaps, people count there own timer from 1 to 30 or something, but maybe it can pause while they are in combat and swinging, but as soon as there is any kind of stare down the timer starts again.

or maybe....
you point your weapon at a person and count loudly....
if they dont hit you or you hit them or something, then they die?
idk, that would increase veteran ownage though....
it's difficult to balance power between those who have it and those who dont.

Methinks the whole timer idea will need lots of contemplation. It has a good foundation, just need to work out the kinks.

yeah, perhaps later ill jot down all the ways i could possible think of playing a game using that timer base i created. right now imma work on making a sheath while i F5 the forums and look for something to reply to.

You could get every one clip-on timers. that way no one has to keep track. (btw I liek the idea.

tis a good idea. but I think a salad bowl or kill bowl would be interesting.

agreed, we should start doing bear pit type things at practice.

I think the salad bowl would force others to get used to fighting with other weapons and the bear pit (i heard kill bowl) would give us much EXP points. XD
