I think its kinda decent, overall. Should have made the cover a little bit tighter, but it'll work out.

Nice job, it looks like it will pass.
It might be a good idea to put a duck tape "X" over the the tip like so:
My First Real Attempt at Foamsmithing BlueSwordStep13.
Doing so should increase weapon longevity and reduce of chance of the core blowing out on a hard flat hit.
