Which one looks cooler?

I can't decide. Which one looks the best artistically as in not who your fav. char. is if you have one or watch the show but artistically/skillful?

I like the way the second one looks better but the girls hair ends to abruptly and the transition is a little to obvious IMO.

Yep thats a problem i had with it cause i had to show the whole hand but didnt wanna cut too much off her pic.

Try to make the hair look like it goes behind the hand

Now see looks to separate and somewhat emphasized! lol Whatever you do, the hand thing should probably stay in the middle. Try making the the hand area significatly brighter or darker (brighter would probably work best) to put the focus there. You could use something like in the first one, but probably a different color.

I think its funny how i noticed all this while i was making it but made myself believe it wasn't while working on it lol my part of my mind works against me sometimes.

Also your right about the top banner i should have made it less wide as of now on my netbook it goes off the edge of the end of the forum graphics.

Test this at 1024x768 for me if it doesn't fit don't bother putting it up just tell me and i will resize it until it does.



Also its not as blurry as the forum makes it took for some reason make sure u get the image from the where it links from im not sure why the forum is doing that also ima revise #2 again shortly.

Also i still wont a new logo by new i don't mean different i just need one that cut out pref. or on a white background also pref. with no aliasing (aka jaggies for those who don't know).

So you do realize that dulmbledoor is suposta gay or whatever right? That makes this image highly suggestive.

I refuse to acknowledge a statement made by the author after the whole series was over with.

1. He wore a purple suit soooo what.
2.She doesn't mention he had a girlfriend

That the only 2 pieces of evidence she mentions which makes me think she came up with that after the fact so stupid.

Also the quote is from the book and if you've read the book it wouldn't be suggestive to you also watch the 6th movie and its at the end of it.

So even if she did it just as a publicity stunt or something, it could hurt (or help) the opinion on your work.

I like the second one best but they both the pics look and feel... barren? (no weird erotic pun intended). I think the font may be to small or unemphasised as well.

in all honesty about dumbledore, when i read the part where he described him and grindelwald that part pretty set it in stone for me, i had my doubts before then but yeah i definately saw him as gay with grindelwald.

anyways my ideas on these designs.

And Daniel is right, it seems too 'barren' it looks like all you did was put a quote on it, and that wont win you a contest at all. Give the picture life somehow, action, a random C4D for no reason, haha. But yes, something. I Have decided to brush off photoshop, if you want to tell me what contests you enter, id like to see how i do. I admit some stuf fyou have made looks beter than what i would do probably,and some stuff looks pitiful, we all have our ups and downs. Mainly im saying im rusty and you have improved so you could most likely beat me in a design contest. altho i do have my illustrator skills still since i made a full illustrator sig a month or so ago.

Ok i need feedback asap on this. This took all of my skill to accomplish lol ( and while it doesnt look like alot its took my awhile to do this and a lot of layers lol) and i need to know if it looks good specifically if the font and text placement looks ok but i will take any suggestions.

Are those... flowers? Or fireworks? Or paint with down syndrome? I'm so confused!

Whatever that thing is next to his right arm looks really out of place though

That would be a clipping layer which i dont wanna explain but the point is its supposed to look messy lol.

I agree with Tristan. Again however, I feel a bigger, more noticeable font might be better.

Bigger text= bad first rule of sig making unless of course the text was made to be part of the sig its hard to explain.
