Hey Guys! I'm Nokomis. I got into Belegarth because of my best friend Nelon and i really really enjoy it. Hehe. I've only been fighting for a few months so i'm not very good. I fight with a Shield and a sword. (usually Nelon's) I'm going to be gettin my own weapons in a few weeks. YAYYYYYY!!!! *dances with joy* I'm really short, (most of you already know that) I have Pink Hair, and right now my hands are veryyy verryyy cold.

I think i'm going to go draw.

We may have to work on your shield fighting techniques a bit once you get your round shield. You're now protected by a circle instead of a stretched-out diamond, so you will need to adjust your stance and swings accordingly. Your height still makes you incredibly hard to hit though. hehe lol

hard to hit the body and hips-upper legs, but the back is wide open. also need to improve blunt damage resistance. should run into walls or something. or get hit by a truck. idk, but you need to be able to take people running dead into you and own them dispite the weight/height disadvantage.

If she goes through with the idea of being hit by a truck, I foresee that she will be encased in a full-body cast. In that case, I suggest we either use her as a meat shield, a boulder, or a combination of the two. Personally, I would find great humor in both. I'm being mean, but it's still hilarious.

But on a more serious note, the ability to absorb damage and not to have to halt combat to say "Ow" and cause your opponent to be concerned would help.

yeah, shed should practice making a very strong front stance and blocking nelon running or just jogging directly into her, before moving up to stopping things with the shield.

Not to be sexist or anything, but I don't think she will ever be able to take a full speed bulldoze from a man and still be standing afterwards. She can most definitely develop the strength to halt jogs and shield bashes, but as far as being charged goes, I don't see her ever winning that simply because she's so small.

Since she is small and has a shield, it might be more practical for her to deflect a charge instead of just taking it. I would try getting good at sidesteping and increaseing the strength of your sheild arm. When someone charges you, step at a 45 degree angle towards them. Since your small you should be able to sidestep faster than most. If their big, they shouldn't be able to stop quickly if they don't have anything to hit. Use your shield to block and manuver them away from you. If you stop the mometem of there charge, go on the offensive before they do it again.

I know I'm not good I did mention that. No need to be a dick Austin. I don't take insults lightly. I do need to improve but sometimes it is very hard to improve when i have a dick like you insulting me all the time. Yes, I am little/short and that does hinder me when it comes to fighting. I am fragile and weak, this i know. THERE CAN BE WOMEN SHIELDSMAN TOO. I am not the only one. apperentaly there is a girl named tiffany who is also a shieldsman. I don't see you insulting her. I can improve. I have improved alot too. Just wait, I'll kick your ass one day.

Um, I don't believe I insulted you in any way. I only mentioned that it may be difficult for you to take a full-speed charge from a man, which is true. If you took that as an insult, I'm sorry that I'm concerned for your well-being. You need to calm down and re-read what I posted.

Hey,
I'm probably as short as you are....4'11 is me. I also fight with a sword and shield. maybe we can practice together one on one....i suck too, but Leinad has been helping me out alot. I will be at practice on Saturday..
